Last Friday saw Trevor Sorbie Manchester take part in a very special catwalk along side teenage cancer fighters underneath the wings of Concorde to raise thousands of pounds for charity.
The event was hosted by James “Caino” Cain and 18-year-old cancer survivor Olivia Cork, who had her right leg amputated after being diagnosed with osteosarcoma at the age 14.
Event organiser Margo Cornish paid tribute to the hard work of everyone involved in the night. She said: “Over 500 young people are diagnosed with cancer each year here in the North West and despite this awareness remains the lowest in the UK. Runway on the Runway aims to change this statistic. The eleven schools and colleges that took part tonight have not only raised money for the charity but have committed to raise awareness among their students.”
A massive congratulations to the team and everyone who was involved in the project!
