Trevor Sorbie Bristol will be opening June 2018, and we are recruiting for hair stylists, technicians and salon assistants to join this brand new team. All new hairdressing recruits will need to undergo our usual training process (called vardering) led by our incredible education and Art Team. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone who is looking to push their career forward with a leading hair brand (read more about opportunities available to our team here). We also have International salons (currently in China, and soon Dubai) with more in the pipeline, so there will also be the chance to travel and work for the company around the world.
All hairdressers’ applying to work for us have to pass two tests to become a Trevor Sorbie team member. The first is a trade test which is presented to our Heads of Education to assess skills and taste levels. If this first stage is passed, then the applicant may begin Vardering – a re-education process which takes between 1-2 months to complete. This culminates in presenting models to either Trevor and his Artistic Director Tom, or International Technical Director Nathan. This is the final stage of the training programme.
Salon Assistants may either have previous salon experience, or a desire to become a hairdresser and undergo our assistant training programme.
